Core Vocabulary and
Communication
Core Vocabulary refers to the small number of words that make up more
than
70-91% of what we say on a daily basis. At the Harford Academy,
we are working to increase the capacity of our students to engage in
appropriate social interaction with peers and adults and to generalize those
skills in the community. Below is a sample of the core vocabulary board
that is used throughout our school.
